Tarry Brae

Spending time at Tarry Brae is a spectacular way to spend a beautiful morning or afternoon. Villa Roma

Located in Callicoon, Villa Roma is one of several golf courses located within a short drive of Camelot Woods that offers an amazing experience. Originally built in 1986, this is among the newest courses in the area. It boasts a 6,514-yard, par 71 course that will be a challenge for expert golfers. It also has a 6,200-yard course for beginners and a 6,350-yard course for juniors. Offering something for all golfers to enjoy, it should be no surprise that Golf Digest has stated that Villa Roma is “a little slice of heaven.”

Lochmor

Lochmor is a beautiful municipal course that is often considered to be a sibling to Tarry Brae. While it may be more forgiving than Tarry Brae across some of its holes, it nonetheless presents a wonderful challenge to all who have the pleasure of golfing on its well-maintained, tree-lined fairways. The landscape at this course is serene with gently rolling slopes and properly designed roughs. Two of the holes at Lochmor run along the shore of Morningside Lake, and these add to the beautiful Catskills views that you can enjoy while you play a lovely round of golf.

Swan Lake

Swan Lake is a golf course and country club that is conveniently located in Bethel County. This is the famed location of Woodstock, and the free spirit of the area is yours to enjoy at Swan Lake as you treat yourself to a beautiful day golfing with family or friends. With its prime location in the heart of the Catskills and not far from Camelot Woods, it provides you with a picture-perfect day of golf. Golf Digest gave Swan Lake a rating of 3.5 stars thanks to its combination of beauty and challenge. In fact, the 18-hole course has Blue, White and Gold ratings, and this makes it ideal for all golfers regardless of their skill level.

Grossinger’s

Golfing at Grossinger’s golf course is unlike any other golf experience that you will have in the Catskill’s region. It is conveniently located in Liberty, New York. This course was originally designed in the 1920s on a serene plot of land along with a premium resort, but the resort closed many years ago. The venue has multiple interesting features that set it apart from other golf courses in the area. For example, it is one of the first courses to feature an island green. In addition, the golf course was designed to optimize the challenges of the natural land’s elevation changes.

Winding Hills

Situated in Montgomery in the heart of the beautiful Hudson Valley, Winding Hills Golf Club is only a short drive from your home in Camelot Woods. It is a well-maintained, executive golf course that is loaded with challenges from every tee. In fact, when you test your skills at Winding Hills, you can enjoy lush fairways along with plenty of sand traps, elevation changes, trees and water hazards. As you appreciate the natural vistas from a variety of vantage points, you can also focus on sinking balls in the cup across this 2,595-yard course. It has a course rating of 70, a par rating of 57 and a slope rating of 113.
